The Worth Of Knowing

Knowing in part | Being fully known

Hidden

I pray we humbly hide ourselves in God’s protective care.

I pray we grow to trust that God sees our hurt (Genesis 16:13).

I pray we would believe that God is not overwhelmed by evil like we are, but that He in His holiness is strong enough to work in evil to bring about good (Genesis‬ ‭50‬:‭19‬-‭21; Habakkuk 1:5).

I pray we trust our loving Father to avenge us and that we experience the relief of leaving room for His wrath (1 Samuel 24:12; Romans 12:19).

I pray that we would see the command of repaying evil with good as a gift to us as it washes away the last of bitterness’ hold (Romans 12:20, 21).

I pray that under our Father’s protective care we would feel safe enough to respect the imago Dei in those who’ve harmed us.

I pray our hearts stay soft to goodness.

“‘May the Lord take vengeance on you for me, but my hand will never be against you.’”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭24‬:‭12‬ ‭CSB‬‬
